Statement on the Election of the 47th President of the United States

As the nation prepares for a second Trump administration, TAAF remains steadfast in our mission to advocate for the safety, belonging, and prosperity of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community. The past years have shown us how harmful stereotyping and scapegoating have fueled a traumatic rise in anti-Asian violence and discrimination. This was the catalyst for our founding and the reason we remain vigilant.

While this election has been marked by division and painful rhetoric, TAAF remains committed to working across all sectors to build a better future for our communities and our country – one where every person, regardless of background, can thrive.
